Mr. Chao brings over 18 years of world-class operations, engineering, and risk management expertise to lead the strategic direction of NxEdge. Prior to founding NxEdge, Mr. Chao held engineering positions at KLA-Tencor, followed by a 10-year tenure at Boeing where he served as Director of Operations for the Boeing 777 program, responsible for over $9 billion in annual aircraft deliveries, then as Vice President of Commercial Aviation Services. In 2000, Mr. Chao joined DCM-Doll Capital Management, a leading venture capital firm in Silicon Valley, as Entrepreneur in Residence. Mr. Chao received his BSEE from UC Berkeley, MSEE from MIT, where he was a Leaders For Manufacturing Fellow, and MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Mr. Dahl brings over 30 years of financial planning and management experience in the private and public sector. He currently oversees all financial management and strategic investment activities for NxEdge.

Prior to joining NxEdge, Mr. Dahl served as CFO for several private companies that created substantial shareholder value, including Zetec, Inc. (acquired by Roper Industries), AEI Music Network, Inc. (acquired by Liberty Media), and SCA Wolff Systems. Mr. Dahl also served as Director of Finance at Advanced Technology Laboratories, Inc., where he was involved with their spin-off from Squibb and the formation of independent public company, Westmark, Inc. Mr. Dahl served as the Corporate Controller at Quinton Instrument Company. Mr. Dahl is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his BA from the University of Washington and MBA from the University of Puget Sound.

Mr. Kwon brings over 10 years experiences in strategic planning, SW development, product marketing, and project management to NxEdge. He currently oversees strategic planning, corporate marketing, and special projects at NxEdge. Prior to joining NxEdge, Mr. Kwon led product management & development for an enterprise SW company and a wireless telecom service provider (JCI). He also worked at DCM-Doll Capital Management, managing venture capital deal flows, and at McKinsey & Co., providing strategic consulting to multi-national corporations. Mr. Kwon received his BS from Carnegie Mellon University and MBA from Stanford University.

Mr. Schiers brings over 30 years of experience in marketing and strategic account development in the semiconductor industry. He currently oversees general management and operation of the NxEdge Boise operation. Prior to joining NxEdge, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Operations at AMI Semiconductor, managing AMI's three core business groups. In that capacity, Mr. Schiers grew several Fortune 500 company accounts from less than $2M to greater than $20M each in annual revenue. Mr. Schiers received his BS from Idaho State University.

Mr. Andreasen brings over 20 years experiences in technology management, process development, manufacturing operations and business development in the thin film and coating industries. He currently leads the NxEdge foray into the solar energy (photovoltaic) market and geographic expansion of our sputter target business worldwide.

Prior to joining NxEdge, Mr. Andreasen served as Vice President of Technology at VACUUM COATING Technologies, Inc.;  Director of Material Science Research and New Technology at Guardian Industries; Product Development and Business Unit Operations Manager at Optical Coating Laboratory (acquired by JDS Uniphase); and Manager of Product Research at the Clorox Company. He also sits on the Board for the Society of Vacuum Coaters and also chairs the Large Area Coating Technical Committee. Mr. Andreasen received his BS in Physics from UC Berkeley and attended AEA Stanford Executive Institute.

Mr. Mills brings over 12 years experiences in thermal spray application and materials businesses. He leads NxEdge’s business development effort to grow engineered material business and find new coating application businesses. Prior to joining NxEdge, he held business development, technical sales, and engineering positions at Sulzer Metco, Praxair Surface Technologies, TEFEN USA, and AlliedSignal. Most recently, he oversaw business development for strategic accounts at HC Starck, a leading refractory metal powder manufacturer, serving various industrial markets worldwide. Mr. Mills received his BS in Systems Engineering from Arizona State University.
